Four years ago today my dear friend Norma Marek went home to be a beautiful illumed angel in God's garden of love and beauty. I miss you so much Norma, my heart still aches. Those who say time heals the loss of those we loved and heals all wounds, did not know the love and friendship we shared. You touched our hearts Norma with your gentle and caring ways, and still today your words of inspiration touch the heart and soul of so many. I am so very sorry for your loss. We will always treasure Norma's poetry. She was one of the most talented, kind and gentle souls. I know because it came through in her poetry. She opened her heart to all of us. May God place his loving and comforting hands on all of you is my prayer.

Each day that passes gives way to another memory of Norma's love of God and Family and Friends. Many have written poetry in her honor...many notes of condolence. So many, like myself, unknown to her personally..feel as though we have known her all our life...and have shared with a loving friend. I requested use of her poetry and she acknowledged with a treasured note, sending me to many other links on which more might be found. Norma gave so willingly of her Spirit to all...sharing her mighty struggle as God allowed her time to continue to mold so many in Compassion, Sharing, Caring, Love, Godliness, Friendship, Patience, Tolerance, and the list goes on. And Thank You Judy Bibby for sharing Norma with so many, as you gave her a 'venue' through which to display her poetry and so beautifully. I JUST WANTED TO SEND THIS MESSAGE TO THE FAMILY OF NORMA. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND I KNOW THE GRIEF YOU ARE GOING THRU. YOU KNOW, MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY AND I TURNED TO NORMA AND SHE PENNED A SPECIAL POEM FOR ME, PLUS SENT ME THE MOST "REWARDING" LETTER THAT I NEEDED SO MUCH. To the family and friends of Norma Marek, my heart goes out to you, no one can replace the loss that you have suffered, but the Good Lord will in His mighty way, dull the pain over time and fill it with beautiful memories. Even though I did not know your mother. I know you and you are the sweetest person I know and I know you got that from your mother. She is in heaven with god and she walks with you all day everyday and watches over you and all your family she is beside you in everything you do and will always be with you. I truly believe she helps you with everything thing you do everyday of your life and you will see her again.

To all my mothers friends and all the people who has been touched by her words. I have no way of giving thanks for your kind words, except to offer you each a tear that has fell from the hearts of myself and the rest of the family. To my Mother, you know my heart more then anyone on this earth, and you know I will be ok. I know you are at peace now, and the pain of the beast of cancer has been left behind. Grandma was such a wonderful person, full of love for her famly and friends.I thank her for what she taught me and the many ways she helped me when I had no clue. Although she is not with us physically... she is with us spiritually and her memmories will last a lifetime!!!

This is Norma's granddaughter and i jus wanted to say how devastated i wus when i found out on the way to the hospital that she had passed. And wus even more devestated when i seen her in her casket. I will miss my grandmother very much and will remember her always in my heart and memory. I know u know wut im sayin grandma so i wanted to say i love you with all my heart and soul and ill never forget you and i know you'll never forget me :-)

I am so sorry to hear about your dear friend Norma's passing here on earth and entering heaven. She is now where there is no pain, tears, sorrow or grief.

I had read her poetry awhile back while doing a web page and the way I found her poetry was through your web site as I received and email with an article "Author Unknown" and the article was to good to be written such as this.

God had blessed her with a talent to write from her heart. You have my deepest sympathy during this time, but God is with you and her family. Though there may be the physical loss, the family and friends will be together someday in heaven.

Sad for your loss, I know she was very dear to you. But I feel compelled to say that Norma has been lifted into God's hands, whole and sound and free of pain. Her loving friendship will continue to surround you and enrich your life, even tho' her physical presence has gone.
